Okay, here’s the thing about these pictures. I weighed ten pounds less on the left side according to the scale a year ago, but I’m a smaller size on the right side - here’s the difference.
The left side picture was taken a year ago, I was a cardio addict. All I did was run run run, do the elliptical and the bike everyday. I never even considered doing weight lifting because I just didn’t think it would work for me.
The picture on the right was today, I’ve been doing weight training for two weeks, running for two weeks, and have hula hooped as cardio for a month and a half at this point. I eat as decently as I can though, that needs work but I guess what I’m trying to say is:
The scale is fucking shit sometimes. That stupid number that we work ourselves up to is complete and utter shit. Because I KNOW I can see a difference in my body, I KNOW I’m improving and I am better than I use to be.
I just had to compare these pictures because holy shit, I look good. I look so good, and I don’t know if it’s my emotions or what, but I’m so fucking proud of myself and I’m crying.
